On Wednesday myself and friends from the Sound Tracks group and the Suitcase Ensemble went to see “And the Horse you Rode in On” by “Told by an Idiot”

The plot was an unusual mix of politics, surrealism and clowning. It was largely based around a Viennese version of Grace Brothers department store (From are you being served), surreally located within easy walking distance of London Zoo. The reactions of the staff and customers to various terrorist actions made against demonstrated a very cleverly walked line betweeen humour and tragedy. In addition to this a rather blackly funny side plot based around the life and kidnapping of the trampolini family.

Jolly good fun!
