Here is the storyboard I made for The Taxidermist.

In fact it’s more like a world! The world of Dismembered Empire!

And I made a film to help raise funds. Anyone who would like to pledge towards helping us make a great show can do so at our We Fund website.
Tonight I went to see Puppet Pool perform in the Pink Flamingo Puppet Cabaret.
They had fire breathing puppets, knife throwing puppets, shadow puppetry, hilarious singing bunnies, Lady Gaga, Jarvis Cocker, body builders, a dancing monster, Einstein, Satan and Reggie became an unwilling father.
I also showed a preview of my new short film “The Taxidermist”, a video for a local band. The audience laughed in all the right places and said they enjoyed it!
The Sound Tracks group put on their first show, Flowers on the Train, Dreams on the Line. A promenade production at Edge Hill Station. A dark yarn of dreams, nightmares, lost opportunities and unrequited love.
I played a “non-descript character” which involved wearing black and being busy through out the show with puppetry, singing, reciting poetry and playing my sax with the band.
We had spent the last twelve weeks learning performance skills, composing music, writing the songs and script and rehearsing the play. I even made a puppet film!
It was all jolly good fun and I was sad when it was all over. I was overjoyed to receive an email the next day asking “What next. Let’s meet up to discuss it!”
