The Laser Cone

George and I went to see the Nam June Paik exhibition in the FACT.

The highlight of the exhibition is the Laser Cone. Where you can intimately share a large mattress with friends and strangers alike and enjoy a colourful and entrancing laser show while laid flat on your back. It’s quite a mind-bending experience.

There is a film lounge where you can watch Paik’s films. To watch them all would take the best part of a day.

Also fun is the Media Lounge where you can play with a local school’s interpretation of the exhibition. Including distorting CRT televisions with magnets, TV cellos and video links.
