The Spring Waterfront festival started today with street theatre, dockwatch, tall ships, steam tugs, canal boats and sea shanties. Jolly good fun.
I bumped into Photonutter while I was there, he was kind enough to take a few pictures of me pretending to be a pirate on the tall ships.
I visited the festival again on Monday, more different street theatre!
On Tuesday I volunteered with Dockwatch with the Revenue and Customs Museum. I went fishing for jellyfish, demonstrated the ROV (underwater camera) and the wildlife in the dock.
On display we had mussels, crabs, jellyfish, sea squirts and sea gooseberries. I even saw a metre long eel!
