George and I went to see the Wave at Picasso show at the Albert Dock. Absolutely brilliant! We loved the guitar and trumpet duets played from tall ships using giant cardboard Picasso instruments! The On the Waterfront Festival continued on Saturday with a Street Theatre Festival. With jugglers, acrobats, puppets and an airial show from a tall ship. The proper pirates saw me as I walked in and quickly recruited me for their plans the following day! Sunday was the Pirate Muster proper with the dock filled with 4,000 pirates, nautical themed street theatre and a pirate band singing on a tall ship! I spent most of the day in the tavern tent and failing to play a fife. The instructions on when to muster under the big wheel were not clear and I missed it. I got to kiss a bearded lady and I completely failed to recognise a couple of my friends in disguise! What a dope! I then got to go to rehearsals dressed as a pirate!
