This is Shem. He’s a sheep!
He’s made out of a pom pom for Eden Art’s “Join the Flock” project.
My friend Sarah told me about this project and I decided I wanted to make one.
Sarah has a small flock forming on her desk at work so Shem has now joined them, and will ultimately join the larger flock!
Sarah described Shem as creepy and couldn’t work out how to position him so he wasn’t looking at her!
I made a music video for Doctor Butler’s Hatstand Medicine Band.
The video was inspired by Fingerbobs and Blue Peter. This was a fun project!
I designed and made all the puppets and sets. Also storyboarded, filmed and edited the film!
The Crown Prince of Ruritania held a Grand State Ball in the Victoria Galleries for his subjects.
We were treated to the St Helens Concert Band playing some marvellous Waltzes and Marches.
Brox and I danced the evening away! We had a terrific time!
I volunteered at the Victorian Christmas at Edge Hill Station. It was very popular and busy this year! We had food, drink, craft stalls, raffles and tombolas. We also some excellent performances from Platform, the Suitcase Ensemble and the Formby Youth Brass Band. I particularly enjoyed the Candy Cane Revolution from the Platform youth group!
Loads of people dressed up for the occasion! Marvellous!
Today was the Hope Street Christmas Fayre.
The cast of Dismembered Empire were invited to Blackburne House with our performance of “Illumination Day”. The citizens of Dismembered Empire are torn between celebrating two mid-winter festivals. Illumination Day, or Crystalmas.
The Purple Hand want to celebrate Crystalmas. A community festival celebrating the longest night with hand made gifts, feasting, music, dancing and cavorting.
The Directorate want to celebrate Illumination Day. A celebration of the subjugation of the night commemorated by the giving of factory produced goods, putting up celebratory lights and producing a world that never stops working.
Professor Zong (Me) and the Arch-Orator (Brox) were also asked to judge the Movember Mo contest! Which was rather fun!
